Our Story Meet the Head and Heart Behind Mazi Wealth

Deline Jacovides

Hi, I’m Deline Jacovides—Certified Financial Planner, Founder of Mazi Wealth, Mentor, Advocate, and Mother.

In late 2019, as I prepared for my second round of maternity leave, I began sharing financial insights on social media, particularly Instagram. I was blown away by the number of people reaching out, wanting to work with me. These prospective clients didn’t fit the high-net-worth focus of the firms I’d previously worked with, and I realised there was a gap in the market for advice that felt personal, inclusive, and accessible. That’s how Mazi Wealth was born!

For me, financial advice is about more than growing wealth. It’s about building a meaningful life. It’s about making decisions with clarity and confidence, knowing that your financial plan reflects your values, your family, and your aspirations. At Mazi Wealth, success isn’t just measured by returns on investments; it’s about the return on life.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible people- retirees securing their next chapter, busy professionals juggling careers and families, and women navigating unique financial challenges. What drives me isn’t just the technical aspects of financial planning but the chance to make a real difference in people’s lives. Whether it’s simplifying complex strategies, creating plans that prioritise what matters most, or simply being there to guide and reassure, my goal is to help my clients feel confident, in control, and supported.

Beyond my role as a financial adviser, I’m deeply committed to advocating for women’s financial security. In 2021, I joined the Women in Super QLD committee as Treasurer and shortly after, I became an active advocate with The Parenthood, a bipartisan organisation championing universal access to early childhood education and care. In my opinion, we can’t resolve the superannuation gender gap without first addressing the high cost of early childhood education and care. My passion for bridging the superannuation gender gap has led me to sit at roundtables with policymakers, including Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, where I’ve shared insights both as a financial adviser and as a mother. One of my proudest moments was hearing the Prime Minister quote my name in Parliament, now forever marked in Hansard-a meaningful milestone in the fight for change.

At Mazi Wealth, the word ‘together’ isn’t just part of our name; it’s at the core of everything we do. Together, we grow your wealth, protect your future, and empower you to live the life you’ve worked so hard to build.
